Intakes in United Kingdom

UK has 3 intakes January, May and September

September is the major intake in the UK  where most of the Universities accept applications for programs.

Students should apply at least a year before the intake in order to get admission in top ranking Universities in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirements:

Since the UK is the hub of the world’s top ranking Universities it is  easier to get admission into good Universities with a decent percentage as compared to other countries like USA and Canada.

The best part is it accepts 15 years of education  and tests like GRE and GMAT are exempted(except for few top ranking Universities) for masters for most of the courses unlike other countries.

Language Requirements:

Minimum IELTS requirement is 6.0 in the UK however depending on your region you can get IELTs waiver or even choose to go for a foundation Program 

UK Application process:

  1. University Shortlisting
  2. Application to University
  3. Offer Conditional or Unconditional
  4. Pay fees once the offer is unconditional and get CAS

Documents required for UK Application:

  1. Marksheets starting from 10th, 12th Graduation Passing certificate degree
  2. 2 SOP
  3. 2 LOR 

Documents for UK Visa:

When applying for your visa, you will generally need:

  1. A current passport or other valid travel documentation
  2. Evidence of funds to provide your living expenses for the duration of your course
  3. Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number and documents used to obtain CAS 
  4. Passport-sized colour photographs
  5. Tuberculosis screening (mandatory for South Asian countries)
  6. Assessment documentation
  7. Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) clearance certificate (if required)

Additional documents may also be needed if you are: 

  1. Not a citizen of the country you are applying from
  2. Under 18 years of age
  3. Have family (dependents)
